Area Rug Do's and Dont's
Do:
Softly Blot up spills ASAP. Don’t rub it fuzzes the yarn.
Keep a mixture of ½ white vinegar and ½ water as a safe and effective way to remove most stains from wool rugs. Especially effective on pet stains and odor.
Vacuum your rugs frequently
Rotate your rugs yearly to minimize excessive wear
Keep blinds closed to reduce sun fading.
Read labels on store bought cleaners. If it doesn’t say Woolsafe approved, don’t use it.
Test every spot remover for color-fastness in an inconspicuous place before using.
